CN Oct M2 Supply Grows 7.5% YoY, More then Estimate

The People's Bank of China (PBOC) announced that the broad money supply (M2) balance in China at the end of October amounted to RMB309.71 trillion, notching a YoY rise of 7.5%, more than the expected growth of 7%. The previous value was an increase of 6.8%.

The narrow money supply (M1) balance amounted to RMB63.34 trillion, setting a YoY decrease of 6.1%, lower than the expected decrease of 7%, versus the previous value of 7.4%.
