Mega Indonesian dotcom GoTo Gojek Tokopedia and Tencent Cloud, a subsidiary of TENCENT (00700.HK), and Alibaba Cloud, a subsidiary of BABA-W (09988.HK), inked an agreement at the Indonesia-China Business Forum to promote the development of cloud infrastructure and digital talent in Indonesia. Pursuant to the statement, Tencent Cloud pledged to invest approximately US$500 million in Indonesia by 2030, involving infrastructure, resources and new investments. To further strengthen cloud infrastructure in Indonesia, Tencent Cloud is building its third internet data center in Indonesia.
