AliExpress, the cross-border e-commerce platform of BABA-W (09988.HK), recently announced that it will further broaden the scope of local currency payment in the African market in February 2025, following its support for mobile payment methods such as M-Pesa in Kenya and Opay and verve bank cards in Nigeria in 2024.
