HK Govt Outlines 5 Key Strategies to Cope with U.S. Tariffs

The Transport and Logistics Bureau (TLB) said that it will lead Hong Kong's logistics enterprises to cope with the abuse of tariffs by the U.S. by adopting five major strategies, namely exploring emerging markets; strengthening collaboration with ports located in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area with a view to developing new cargo sources together; exempting the import and export licence requirements for certain products to attract more transhipment cargoes; deepening international port and shipping co-operation; and expanding the maritime and aviation networks.
