The US Court of International Trade has ruled that US President Donald Trump's reciprocal tariffs are illegal and exceed presidential authority, ordering their revocation and permanent prohibition, foreign media reported. The US government may appeal to the federal court.

The news has spurred an upsurge in US stock futures, with DJIA futures last up 437 points or 1.04%, at 42,607; S&P 500 futures up 1.4%, to 5,985.5; and Nasdaq futures up 1.7% to 21,743.75.
