Global sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs), including battery electric vehicles (BEVs), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, numbered 4.868 million units in 2Q25, marking a 30% YoY increment, according to the latest survey by TrendForce. Including hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), the sales of electric vehicles (EVs) in 2Q25 reached 6.456 million units, accounting for 29% of the total global automobile sales.
