CN Pauses Special Port Fees on US Ships for 1 Yr

To implement the consensus reached during the 2025 China-US Kuala Lumpur economic and trade negotiations, and with the approval of the State Council, China's Ministry of Transport announced that, starting today (10th) at 13:01, it will suspend the collection of special port fees from US ships and investigations into the impact on the safety and development interests of the shipping and shipbuilding industries and related supply chains for one year, in response to the US pause of the final measures of the Section 301 investigation into maritime, logistics, and shipbuilding industries against China.
