The Macau government estimated the GGR in 2026 to be MOP236 billion (USD29.4 billion), Jefferies said in a research report. Although the data seems to set a floor for forecasts, the cautious tone suggests that the market may struggle to sustain 2025's HSD% growth expectations. The broker adjusted its revenue outlook for the remainder of 2025 and 2026 to YoY growth of 9.1% and 3.6%, respectively. In view of the recent strong market performance, Jefferies raised its Macau GGR forecast for 2025 from USD28.217 billion to USD30.777 billion. To reflect the Macau government's cautious GGR forecast, 2026's forecast was lowered from USD32.917 billion to USD31.878 billion, with the YoY growth reduced from the previous forecast of 5% to 3.6%.
