MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) announced on its social platform that it commenced construction of apartments for delivery riders in Mainland China starting last Friday (21st). Riders with housing needs can apply to move into these apartments, whereas Meituan will provide rental subsidies to ensure that the actual monthly rent remains below market levels. The rider apartments offer various room types, including single rooms, shared rooms, and family rooms, equipped with independent shower rooms, washing machines, water dispensers, and 24-hour hot water supply.
