The Pentagon sent a letter to Congress saying that BABA-W (09988.HK), BIDU-SW (09888.HK), BYD COMPANY (01211.HK), HUA HONG SEMI (01347.HK), ROBOSENSE (02498.HK), WUXI APPTEC (02359.HK), ZHONGJI INNOLIGHT (300308.SZ) and EOPTOLINK (300502.SZ) should be added to the 1260H list of companies assisting the Chinese military, according to Bloomberg. It is currently unclear whether these companies have been officially included in the Pentagon's 1260H list, but the list itself does not have direct legal repercussions. The list aims to identify companies associated with the Chinese military operating in the US. It is published annually, with the most recent release before Trump took office in January.
