Hong Kong stocks repeatedly softened today (28th). The HSI ebbed 87 points or 0.3% to close at 25,858. The HSCEI dropped 34 points or 0.4% to finish at 9,130. The HSTECH added 1 point to settle at 5,599. Total market turnover for the day shrank to $146.204 billion. In November, a total of 178 domestic online games were approved in mainland China, including those from BIDU-SW (09888.HK) and BILIBILI-W (09626.HK). BIDU-SW gained 1%, while BILIBILI-W and KINGSOFT (03888.HK) slid 0.2% and 0.3%. JD-SW (09618.HK) ticked up 0.3% as it reportedly received conditional approval from Italy for its acquisition of German company Ceconomy. For other techs, BABA-W (09988.HK) closed up 0.6%, while TENCENT (00700.HK) closed flat at $611.5. NTES-S (09999.HK) and XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) faded 0.4% and 0.2%, while MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) and KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) shed 1.4% and 0.9%. MEITUAN-W will release its quarterly results after market close. Moreover, EAST BUY (01797.HK) mounted 3.6%, while ALI HEALTH (00241.HK) waned 3.3%. Chip stocks SMIC (00981.HK) and HUA HONG SEMI (01347.HK) climbed 0.7% and 2.7%. Robotics stock UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880.HK) ballooned 3.8%. For automakers, GAC GROUP (02238.HK) soared 16.6% as its Aion UT super began deliveries. SERES (09927.HK) plummeted 8.1%, while BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) ascended 0.5%. CHERY AUTO (09973.HK) cascaded 2.8%. Battery stock CATL (03750.HK) leaped 0.4%, while smart driving chip stock HORIZONROBOT-W (09660.HK) elevated 4.2%. Radar system stock HESAI-W (02525.HK) jumped up 2.9%. For Hong Kong and Chinese consumers, POP MART (09992.HK) and MIXUE GROUP (02097.HK) advanced 2.8% and 2.9%, while NONGFU SPRING (09633.HK) stumbled 3.2%.
