The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Party of China held a meeting today (8th) to analyze and study the economic work for 2026, and review the "Regulations on the Comprehensive Rule of Law under the Leadership of the Communist Party of China", Xinhua News Agency reported.

The meeting, presided by Chinese President Xi Jinping, underscored the persistent expansion of domestic demand and optimization of supply, enhancing increments, revitalizing stock, developing new quality productivity according to local conditions, advancing the construction of a unified national market, continuously preventing and resolving risks in key areas, focusing on stabilizing employment, enterprises, markets, and expectations, promoting effective qualitative improvement and reasonable quantitative growth of the economy, maintaining social harmony and stability, and achieving a good start for the "15th Five-Year Plan".
