Renault and Ford (F.US) have announced a collaboration to develop affordable small electric vehicles (EVs) for the European market and jointly produce commercial vans to reduce costs. This collaboration aims to make the two carmakers a major player in the European light commercial vehicle sector and, in turn, counter competition from Chinese rivals.
