Fitch Upgrades FWD Rating Outlook to 'Positive'

Rating agency Fitch has upgraded the Outlook on FWD (01828.HK)'s Issuer Default Rating (IDR) and the Insurer Financial Strength (IFS) Ratings of its operating subsidiaries to "Positive" from "Stable". The IDR has been affirmed at "BBB+" and the IFS Ratings at "A". The positive rating outlook reflects Fitch's expectation that FWD will continue to enhance its profitability and maintain strong capital adequacy with lower financial leverage and improved financial flexibility following recent refinancing activities.
