The HSI opened up 1 point at 25,435 this morning (10th). The HSCEI rose less than 1 point to 8,936. The HSTECH dipped 2 points to 5,552.

In the technology sector, BABA-W (09988.HK) opened down 0.3% at HKD150.5. It is said to have established a Qianwen C-end business group with the primary goal of building Qianwen into a super app. TENCENT (00700.HK) inched down 0.1% to HKD602. MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) and BIDU-SW (09888.HK) climbed 1.1% and 0.9%. JD-SW (09618.HK) and BILIBILI-W (09626.HK) dipped 0.5% and 0.2%. NTES-S (09999.HK) fell 1.2%. KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) remained flat at HKD66.65. Chip stock SMIC (00981.HK) added 0.7%.

Among carmakers, BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) dropped 1% at open. XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) edged 0.1% higher. GEELY AUTO (00175.HK) lost 0.1% to HKD17.5. It plans to establish a syndicated loan of up to USD420 million for the ZEEKR (ZK.US) privatization.

Chinese developer AGILE GROUP (03383.HK) opened declining 3.2% to HKD0.3. It received a winding-up petition involving USD18.59 million unpaid. In contrast, its peers YUEXIU PROPERTY (00123.HK), CHINA OVERSEAS (00688.HK), and CHINA RES LAND (01109.HK) gained 0.9-1%. LONGFOR GROUP (00960.HK) also rallied 2%.

VIVA GOODS (00933.HK) further increased its stake in LI NING (02331.HK) to 14.27%, totaling HKD320 million. LI NING opened 1.9% higher at HKD17.28.
