Sportswear retailer Nike (NK.US) announced after the market closed on Thursday that its 2FQ26 EPS were US$53 cents, higher than the market's expected US$38 cents. Revenue amounted to US$12.43 billion, also ahead of the expected US$12.22 billion. Strong sales in the North American market offset the decline in Greater China sales. North American sales grew 9% to US$5.63 billion, while revenue in Greater China fell 17% to US$1.42 billion. Nike's share price slumped 5% in after-hours trading as investors continued to worry about the impact of higher tariffs on the Company. AASTOCKS Financial News Website: www.aastocks.com |
