OpenAI is seeking to raise up to US$100 billion in funding by the end of 1Q26, The Wall Street Journal quoted sources as saying. Although this financing round is still in its early stages, if the fundraising target is met, it could bring the Company's valuation to as high as US$830 billion. It is reported that OpenAI's CEO, Sam Altman, is reaching out to global investors to expand OpenAI's investor base.
