The Hong Kong Government has announced the land sale plan for the fourth quarter of this fiscal year, from January to March 2026. Secretary for Development, Bernadette Linn, disclosed that two medium-small residential sites will be launched through tender in the next fiscal quarter, involving a total of 670 units.

These sites are located at Choi Ha Road in Ngau Tau Kok and Main Street East in Shau Kei Wan, expected to provide 470 units and 200 units respectively. Both sites were originally planned for government and community use and completed the rezoning process.

On the other hand, the second phase of MTR CORPORATION (00066.HK) Kam Sheung Road Station project is expected to provide approximately 1,290 units, while the Urban Renewal Authority's development project at Kai Tak Road/ Sha Po Road in Kowloon City is estimated to involve about 810 units. Together with private projects expected to involve 190 units, a total of 2,960 units will be provided next quarter from various sources.

Including the supply from the first three quarters, this fiscal year's supply reaches 15,750 units, which was believed to beat the government's annual target of about 13,200 units by approximately 20%.
