The added value of core industries in the national digital economy in Mainland China for 2024 was RMB14.0891 trillion, representing 10.5% of GDP, according to calculations by the National Bureau of Statistics. Within the core industries of the digital economy, the added value of digital technology application industry was RMB6.1928 trillion, the highest proportion of the core industries of the digital economy, at 44%; and the added value of digital product manufacturing industry was RMB4.8145 trillion, accounting for 34.2%.
