TSMC (TSM.US) announced that its 2nm process technology will begin mass production in 4Q25 as scheduled. The 2nm process will become the industry's most advanced semiconductor technology in terms of density and energy efficiency. This technology utilizes nanosheet transistor structure to provide performance and power consumption improvements across the entire process node, meeting the increasing demand for energy-efficient computing. Compared to the 3nm N3E process, the 2nm process offers a 10-15% speed increase at the same power consumption.
