MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) recently forged a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai Xiche Future Intelligent Technology (literal translation of "上海喜車未來智能科技") in Shanghai, Chinese media reported. Both parties will integrate the advantages of the automotive industry and local life services to co-build a "Car Purchase and Use + Local Life" one-stop service platform. Consumers will in the future be able to browse and compare different 4S shops on the MEITUAN platform, just like selecting a restaurant, and complete online transactions and reviews, sources divulged. The platform will help 4S shops achieve service transparency and protect user privacy, reducing the risk of information leakage. Xiche Future plans to bring more than 30 car brands and over ten thousand dealership stores online on MEITUAN by the end of 2026, weaving a nationwide online automotive service ecosystem.
