The Australian dollar has ascended to nearly a three-year high, given the hawkish stance of the Reserve Bank of Australia and potential joint measures by the US and Japan to support the yen.

The Australian dollar has escalated by nearly 4% so far this year and was hovering around 0.69 against the US dollar this morning (27th). The Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Westpac Bank predicted that the AUD/ USD exchange rate could climb to 0.7 by the end of March, marking a high level since early 2023.
