Silver futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) busted above USD120 per ounce today (29th), reaching a peak of USD120.57, setting a new historical high, in light of heightened risk-off demand from investors.

Silver futures last jumped up 3.15% at USD117.11 per ounce. Spot silver plateaued at USD116.7 per ounce.
