HK 4Q25/ 2025 GDP Estimated to Grow 3.8%/ 3.5% YoY, Both Beating Forecasts

The Census and Statistics Department of Hong Kong (C&SD) released today (30th) the advance estimates on Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for 4Q25 and the whole year of 2025. GDP increased by 3.8% in real terms in 4Q25 over a year earlier, compared with the increase of 3.7% in 3Q25, according to the advance estimates. For 2025 as a whole, GDP increased by 3.5% in real terms over 2024. Market expectations indicate that GDP for 4Q25 will grow by 3% YoY, compared with an annual increase of 3.2%.
