DJIA Futures Shed 500Pts+ and Nikkei Slips 2% in Early Trade on US-Israel Military Strike on Iran

The US and Israel's joint military strike on Iran suppressed US stock futures in the early Asian session. DJIA futures slid by 564 points or 1.2%, standing at 48,436. S&P 500 futures dropped 71 points or 1%, at 6,817. Nasdaq 100 futures dived by 270 points or 1.1%, at 24,734.

Asia-Pacific stock markets opened lower. The Nikkei 225 last tumbled by 1,262 points or 2.2%, to 57,587. South Korea's market was closed today. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 declined by 32 points or 0.4%, to 9,165. New Zealand's S&P/NZX 50 lost by 134 points or 1%, to 13,588.
