CAAM: CN Feb NEV Production/ Sales Slip 21.8%/ 14.2% YoY

China's auto production and sales in 2M26 declined YoY due to the combined impact of multiple factors, including policy adjustments, the pre-release of demand, the different timing of the Spring Festival holiday, weak consumer sentiment and a high base from the same period, according to the announcement made by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM). In February, production/ sales volumes of NEVs reached 694,000/ 765,000 units down 21.8%/ 14.2% YoY, respectively.
