BYD COMPANY Reportedly Secures Total 100K Vehicle Export Orders from Argentina, Mexico

Stella Li, Executive Vice-President of BYD COMPANY (01211.HK), disclosed that the Company's factory in Brazil received export orders for a total of 100,000 vehicles from Argentina and Mexico, with each country ordering 50,000 vehicles, according to foreign media. The plant located in Camacari, Bahia, in northeastern Brazil, has an annual output of 150,000 vehicles, and will increase production to 600,000 vehicles in phases, Li added.
