The Shenzhen government has released "Shenzhen Housing Provident Fund Management Measures" to optimize the "Interim Measures for the Shenzhen Housing Provident Fund Management" implemented since December 2010. This revision clarifies that employees can voluntarily apply to raise their personal contribution rate to no more than 12% in a bid to obtain a higher housing provident fund loan amount.
