In 2025, a total of 190 automobile recalls were implemented in China, involving 6.846 million vehicles, down 18.5% and 39.1% respectively when compared to the figures in 2024, according to a notice released by the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) on that year's automobile and consumer goods recall situation.

Among them, there were 105 new energy vehicle recalls, involving 2.652 million vehicles, accounting for 38.7% of the total recalls for the year.
