Alibaba DAMO Academy launched the new-generation flagship CPU, XuanTie C950, at the 2026 Xuantie RISC-V Ecosystem Conference held in Shanghai. This CPU adopts a 5-nanometer process, with a frequency of 3.2GHz. Its single-core performance surpasses 70 points for the first time, more than tripling the comprehensive performance of its predecessor, Xuantie C920. With the open-source RISC-V architecture, the XuanTie C950 is suitable for fields such as cloud computing, generative AI, high-end robotics, and edge computing.
