Jack Yang joined HSBC HOLDINGS in 2009 and will succeed Ming Lau, who has left to join MANULIFE-S (00945.HK). An HSBC HOLDINGS spokesperson confirmed this personnel appointment, though it is still subject to regulatory approval. The appointment is expected to take effect on April 13.
