According to a notice issued by the Hainan Provincial Housing Provident Fund Management Bureau, if a contributor's family has no outstanding housing provident fund loans (including subsidized loans) in Hainan Province, their children are allowed to apply to withdraw the housing provident fund for the purchase of their first home (including newly built commercial housing and second-hand self-occupied housing) in the province. The application has to be made within one year from the date of registration and filing of the purchase contract for newly built commercial housing or within one year from the date of obtaining the real estate ownership certificate for second-hand housing.
