The Hainan Housing Provident Fund Administration recently issued the "Notice on Launching the Business of Withdrawing Housing Provident Funds for Property Management Fees (Consultation Draft)", planning to expand the scope of provident fund usage by allowing withdrawals to pay property management fees for owner-occupied residential properties. The policy is proposed to take effect from July.

The proposed policy specifies that families of contributors with no outstanding housing provident fund loans or subsidized loans in Hainan Province may apply once per year to withdraw provident funds to pay property management fees for one owner-occupied residential property under the family's name within the province.
